Son of John Arthur and Frances Jane BARRACLOUGH, Reuters Telegraph Co., 359 Collins Street, Melbourne.
Harold had two brothers who enlisted as Privates, they were commissioned in the field.
Killed in Action at Walker's Ridge, Gallipoli, Turkey.
Kellerberrin
The deepest regret was felt throughout the town and district when the news came through last week that Harold Barraclough 10th Light Horse, was killed in action at the Dardanelles. The deceased was a sterling type of the Catholic young Australian, strong and fervent in his faith, sincere and modest in deportment, and though he had not yet reached the age of 20, a fine type of manhood. The deceased, with his brother Frank, natives of Victoria, had been farming at North Kellerberrin for the past live or six years, and during that time put in some hefty work in carving out a home from the virgin bush. To his bereaved brother and his parents, who reside in Melbourne, Victoria, we tender our sincere sympathy. R.I.P.
