Husband of Beatrice Annie Underdown of Short Street, Perth, WA.
During his service term he had been promoted on several occasions but each he was reverted back to Private for a variety of reasons.
Commenced return to Australia on 1 June 1919 aboard HY Somali disembarking on 8 July 1919
