George was the second of five children of Frederick Brewsher (born 1850 in Canada) and Mary Walker (born 1855 in Fremantle, WA). Frederick and Mary married in Perth, WA in 1874, and lived in Perth where Frederick was a Saddler. Following Mary's death in 1909 George had moved to Bunbury WA with his father and siblings,
George married Ingeborg (Bella) Ann Andersen (born 1889 in Bunbury WA) in 1909 in Wellington, WA. George worked as a Horse Trainer and Horse Driver in Bunbury and enlisted at Blackboy Hill WA in the AIF in December 1915. He served as a Private (Service No: 4757) and was Discharged in August 1919. Brother Edward James also served in the AIF (Service No: 24495)
George returned to his family in Bunbury WA, and in 1929 was living in Collie WA and working in the Mill, The family returned to Bunbury where George was employed as a Linesman, Sons Edward Ronald (Australian Army: Service No: 25530) and Gordon Reginald (RAN: Service No: 22506) and Gordon's wife Rosie Olive Hughes (RAAF: Service No: 99417) served in WWII
George died in 1969 in Bunbury WA and wife Bella died in 1983
