Husband of Eleanor Costello of Ulton Street, Woollahra, NSW.

Brother of Thomas Costello who was killed in action on 2 May 1915 while serving with the 1st Battalion and has no known grave. Name appears on the Lone Pine Memorial, Panel 12 and Michael Costello who returned to Australia on 31 August 1916 having served with the 17th Battlion and died on 27 April 1921 of Tuberulosis
