Clifford Allchurch
Clifford Allchurch was born on March the 13th, 1896 in Adelaide, South Australia. His Mother was Mrs Harriet Annie Allchurch and his father was Herbert Allchurch.
He enlisted for the war on August the 31st, 1916 in Adelaide. Previously he had served for three years in the Senior Cadets and for two years in the 78th infantry Bn, Citizen Forces.
During the war, he served as a Private in the 10th Battalion and was killed in action in Belgium.
The cause of his death was a bullet through his back. At first they thought he was only wounded, but they later discovered he had died in battle.
He was a single 20 year old man, whom weighed 146lb, was 5'6.5" tall, had dark brown hair, hazel eyes and apparently some gold teeth. Someone also stated he had the voice of a girl.
