Ruby was the daughter of John Carmichael and Elizabeth Carmichael nee Niven.

Married Edward William Campbell in 1937. 

Ruby was 100 when she passed away on 16.5.1990. Her remains were cremated and collected from Springvale Botanical Cemetery.
