Theodore Thomas TYDEMAN was born in Quetta, India in 1888

His parents were Edwin James TYDEMAN & Hannah Sarah DAVIS

He enlisted in Morphetville, South Australia on 25th August, 1914 & embarked on the HMAT Port Lincoln from Adelaide on 22nd October, 1914 with the 3rd Light Horse Regiment - he returned to Australia in 1917 and was discharged on 8th November, 1917  (3rd Division Headquarters)

He married Ivy Dorothy BAINES in South Australia in 1918 - two known children, Dudley & Colin - divorced 1945

Theodore died in Royal Adelaide Hospital, South Australia on 21st March, 1953 as a result of an accident when he walked into the path of a tram in Glenelg- he was living in 20 Durham Street, Glenelg at the time

He was cremated at West Terrace Crematorium
