Pte Clarence Aspinall

On of the men who has been identified by his grand daughter in the "Lost Diggers of Vignacourt" photo, which includes my grandfather, Clarrie Aspinall, in the centre. I was thrilled to identify him in 3 of the photos. I am trying to identify the men in the photos with him. I believe the man on his right in this photo may be Pte Roy Clarence Knight, 29th Batt'n. This was my grandfathers original Batt'n when he enlisted and Roy features in other photos taken in Egypt before my grandfather transferred to the 5th Div Sig Co. This photo was taken some time in Nov 1916, after the disaster of Fromelles, when I know that several of my grandfather's mates had been killed and others taken POW at Fromelles, hence this photo with Roy when they make have seen each other for the first time after that battle. Thinking of my lovely Poppa this Anzac Day, so damaged by his war service.
