News was received yesterday that Corporal R. A. H. Allen has been wounded in action. He enlisted when 19, and has been nearly three years on active service in France. Corporal Allen, who was an employee of the Queensland Railway Service at the time he enlisted, is a son of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. H.
