Leslie Roy CHASE was born 29.3.1895 in Yorketown, South Australia His parents were Leonard William CHASE and Louisa Ann NICOLLE S/N 4269 he joined 32nd Battalion Unit embarked from Adelaide on board HMAT Afric on 7.11.1916 He returned to Australia 5.7.1919 Leslie married Hilda May EATTS on 7.7.1920 in Myponga, South Australia He died on 27.1.1977 buried Cheltenham Cemetery, South Australia His brother Clive Ludwig Montifore Garfield CHASE S/N 442 died of wounds 11.3.1917
