"...3274 Private Thomas Mowbray Cole, 11th Reinforcements, 8th Battalion, of Castlemaine, Vic. Pte Cole enlisted on 5 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Nestor on 11 October 1915. He returned to Australia on 27 September 1917." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
