Pte. Peter Pinder, a Boer war veteran, who enlisted with the first batch of local recruits in August, 1914, returned to Euroa last week. He was soldiering during the Gallipoli campaign and subsequently saw service in France, being on duty till a short time ago. Private Finder was met at the station by a large number of friends, from whom lie received an ovation on reaching the platform.
