Add my storyBiography
Temporary Sergeant, A Company, 44th Battalion.
Wounded in the chest, arm and leg by a shell that exploded near him on 29th September 1918, he was taken to the Regimental Aid Post where he died several hours later.
Bitter and cruel, the action in which Sergeant Buchan died of his wounds was the last action the 44th Battalion took part in during World War One.
