Biography

While at University he was a keen member of the Boat Club.

Answered to the name of March and was studying civil engineering for 2 years before enlisting in July 1915.

The son of Thomas Sergeant Hall and his first wife Elizabeth Walsh. His father was a University lecturer and his brother 15537 Alexander Sergeant Hall (/explore/people/275825) also served. He returned home after the war and was discharged on 10 May 1919.

HALL.— Killed in action in France, 27th September, Sergeant Thomas March Hall, loved eldest son of Mrs. T. S. Hall, Kasouka road, Camberwell, and the late Dr. T. S. Hall, formerly engineering student, Melbourne University, after nearly two years' active service, aged 24 years.

He was needed, so  ----
