Military Medal Citation
For gallantry and devotion ot duty near VILLERS BRETTONEUX on May 3rd 1918. When his Company went over in the attack he went forward with a telephone. When this was blown up Pte. BAILEY returned through the most intense barrage, obtained another phone and established communication, His devotion to duty was magnificent.
