"THE LATE PRIVATE E. A. MILLAR.
Private Edmund A. Millar, whose death is announced in France, was for some years a resident of South Australia, and shortly before he enlisted in Victoria he was employed as a timekeeper on the East-West railway. He was 30 years of age, and a son of Mrs. James Millar, of Camperdown, Victoria. He was one of four brothers who enlisted, and he is the third to make the supreme sacrifice. He was of fine physique, and stood over 6 ft. high." - from the Adelaide Chronicle 03 Feb 1917 (nla.gov.au)
