Frederick Cocking, a bricklayer, was 29 when he enlisted in March, 1915. Born in Lincolnshire, England, Frederick was 5' 6" tall with blue eyes and brown hair. His next-of-kin is listed as his sister, Sarah Elizabeth Blackburn of Lincolnshire, England. Frederick joined the 5th Pioneer Battalion in April 1916 serving in France until his death on 26th November, 1916.
