Births Mar 1885 Read Richard James R East Preston 2b 392.
He was 29 and the son of Richard and Anne Read of Arundel.; husband of Elsie Hosking (formerly Read), of 151, Clark St., Northcote, Victoria, Australia.
He is remembered on the Arundel War Memorial which is in the form of a Cross and which stands in the town centre and contains 93 names for 1914-1918
The memorial was unveiled on 24th July 1921 by Lord Leconfield.
