Son of Cedric Owen Heasman and Annie Heasman of Markstakes Farm, Chaily, Sussex, England
9 September 1916 - returned to Australia on board Seang Bee with the 3/4 Machine Gun Company for 3 months due to Enteric Fever. Confined to bed for 7 weeks
4 July 1916 - returned to duty with the 5th Military District
Brother of Albert Heasman MM who returned to Australia on 16 June 1919 having served in the 16th Battalion and Gilbert Arthur Heasman MM who returned to Australia on 28 February 1919 having served in the 11th Battalion
