Son of Peter Vassy and Teresa Vassy nee Loriot of Caulfield, Victoria. Brother of Peter Considine Vassy who drown when he fell overboard from HS Formosa on 13 Ocrober 1915. His name appears on the Lone Pine Memorial, Panel 68.
