Son of David Capper and Caroline Capper nee Worley of Gosford, NSW

Prior to enlisting he was a junior clerk with the South British Insurance Company Limited.

He served in the Naval Reserve prior to joining the AIF

Next of kin given as his sister Australia Alberta Martin nee Capper of Dumaresq Street, Hamilton, NSW

Commenced return to Australia on 19 July 1919 aboard HT City of Exeter disembarking on 26 August 1919

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal

Husband of Doris Ilmar Capper nee Bond. Stanley and Doris were married in Newcastle, NSW during 1925c. Father of Brian Capper
