Served on the island of Borneo during Indonesian Confrontation with 102 Field Battery which was the only Australian battery to serve on the island during confrontation
Served in South Vietnam during the Vietnam War with 107 Field battery RAA 1970-71
Elected discharge in 1983 after 21 years service
