BURRA BOY ON PARRAMATTA
Amongst the list of those missing from the 'Parramatta' which was reported as sunk by enemy ac tion last week, is A.B. Seaman, Dick Satchell. The young sailor who would be 21 years of age today, was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Satchell, of Riverton. Dick was born in Burra, his father, at that time, being employed in the Rail way Department here. He  was a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pearce, pioneer graziers, of Mt. Bryan. He was a popular lad at school and well liked. Determined to lead a seafaring life he joined the  Navy in 1939, and we under stand first saw duty on the Parramatta. Great sympathy is expressed for his parents and sisters in their trouble.
