Son of Alfred Victor and Emily Cleary Heritage, of Swan Reach, South Australia.

A.B. Roy George Heritage, 22. elder son of W. O. A. V. and Mrs. Heritage, of Fletcher road, Birkenhead, has been at sea since he was 14. He spent  four years on the South Australian coast, and was trading out of London during the Spanish civil war. He was born at Birkenhead and educated at  Lefevre's School. He joined the navy at the outbreak of war, and served in minesweepers until recently. His father served in the navy during the last  war, and is again with the service. His brother, Alfred, is also in the navy .
