Son of Stanley Francis and Elsa Minna Brooks, of 19 Grant Avenue, Rose Park, South Australia.

Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Brooks, of Grant avenue, Rose Park, have been notified by the Navy Office that their eldest son, Coder Harold Brooks (RAN), was killed in an accident at Brisbane last Saturday. After spending two years as coder in the Navy in operational areas he had only recently been transferred to Brisbane. Coder Brooks took a keen interest in the activities of the YMCA. Before joining the Navy he was on the staff of F. H. Faulding & Co., Ltd.
