Metal Moth aircraft A7-72 of Number 1 Elementary Flying Training School Parafield crashed 3 miles north of Salisbury, SA killing Air Cadet Robin Overton Bowron and Flying Officer Charles Cox (neither officer had been allocated a service number)

His parents were Harry Overton BOWRON & Adelaide Ruby PHILLIPS who married in New Zealand in 1917
