Son of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Watson, of Prospect, South Australia.
Flying Officer Dugald John Watson, R.A.A.F., only son of Mr. Harry Watson, formerly of Mayfield East, and now of Chalres Street, Plympton, South Australia was killed in action on April 8 as a result of air operations. He was captain of a Halivax aircraft on an operational flight. The plane crased at Kirkham Grange, Driffiled, Yorkshire, during a landing.
He was educated at Newcastle High School and was later a technical trainee at the B.H.P. He left Australia with the R.A.A.F. in 1942.
