MISSING IN
AIR OPERATION
Flying-Officer. Kenneth Lovett Ridings, former State cricketer, is reported missing as a result of air operations on May 17. Advice to this effect has been received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roland B. Ridings, of Allan avenue, Brooklyn Park.
Flying-Officer Ridings was State and West Torrens opening batsman. Recently it was announced that he had been selected to play in an All-Australia XI. against a team selected by P. F. ("Plum") Warner in England. Flying-Officer Ridings left Australia last August. He was the youngest son of the West Torrens cricketing family. Three brothers are in the Army.
