Son of Joseph Patrick and Mary Veronica McGee, of Linden Park, South Australia.
Mr. and Mrs. J. P. McGee, of Linden Park, have been notified by the Air Board that their youngest son, Flt Sgt. Maurice Patrick McGee, 20, was killed in an, aircraft accident at Uranquinty, N.S.W., on April 4. He was buried in the Wagga War Memorial Cemetery. Before enlisting he was employed in the Civil Defence Department. He enlisted in 1943, and gained his wings last year. He was educated at Marist Brothers' High School, Norwood, and later at Rostrevor College. He has three brothers in the services. May his soul rest in peace.

Flight Sergeant McGee 442296 from Number 5 Service Flying Training School Uranquinty was killed in the loss of Wirraway aircraft A20-39 at Sandy Creek, NSW when his aircraft collided in mid-air during a formation training flight with Wirraway A20-414 piloted by 438604 Sergeant McDowell (survived, discharged from the RAAF in June 1947)
