Warrant Officer Harold Beaumont Uren was the son of Richard Henry and Anne Caroline Uren, of Norwood, South Australia.
Warrant Officer Harold Beaumont Uren's De Havilland Mosquito aircraft was on a training mission in Canada.
The plane crashed near South Waterville, Canada and the two man RAAF crew were killed. The engine caught fire during the flight and burnt in the air.
