Mrs. Poppy King, of Bridge street, Kensington, has been informed that her husband, Trainee Pilot John E. King, was killed in an aircratt accident near Point Cook on May 11. He was educated at Norwood Technical School, and enlisted in May, 1941. He was formerly employed by William Essery & Sons, Norwood. He received his wings on April 29. He was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. H. King, of Sydenham road, Norwood.
