"GEELONG MAN KILLED. UNREALISED HOPE. Geelong, Sunday.
Private Frank Dunt who was killed at the Dardanelles, was born in Geelong and lived here until a few months ago when he went to Melbourne. He enlisted from Geelong. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Dunt who carried on business as butchers in Geelong for many years. Frank Dunt was a very popular young man, 27 years of age, and one of the last post cards received from Geelong from him stated: "Hope to see you again in near future." - from the Warrnambool Standard 03 May 1915 (nla.gov.au)
