Son of Stanley James Hudson and Catherine Ann Hudson of Murray Bridge, South Australia
As there were no accommodation available for the influx of RAAF personnel into Darwin at the start of the war they were billeted in an abandoned meatworks. AC Hudson was on the upper floor and having come back to the building late at night fell through an opening where a part of the wall was missing and fell to his death.
