4977 Private Bertie (Bluey) Bartlett, 17th Bn A.I.F.
Bertie had been wounded in the Layton Alley Bombing attack in March 1917 and was later to be killed in action on the 9th October 1917 at Passchendaele, he now rests in Tyne Cot Cemetery.
