Mrs. Bradford, of Cornwall-street, Thompson Estate, has received word that her eldest son, Sergeant George L. Bradford, 31st Battalion, is returning home on the Chemnitz, due at Melbourne about August 24. Sergeant Bradford has been on active service for nearly four years, having enlisted in July, 1915.
