Richard Henry Thomas BARUNGA was born in Halbury, South Australia on 19th July, 1894
His parents were George Thomas BARUNGA & Martha Amelia Ann LAMPEY who married in SA on 16th June 1891
He married Alice Hazel OFFEN in Christ Church Chapel in Balaklava, SA on 15th August, 1921 - his 2nd marriage was to Ellen Emily (maiden name & date unknown)
Children from his 1st marriage were Amelia Ann, Shirley Catherine, Betty, Hazel Jean, Evelyn May, Ella Louise & Patricia May.
Richard served in both WW1 and WW2
