Biography
Teddy Kitchener Grigg was born at Springton, South Australia, on 30 July 1916 to Herbert Hugh and Florence Sylvia Grigg (nee Ackland).
Ted was the tenth of twelve children. The family lived at ‘Fernbank’, a small farm near Springton. Ted attended the local school at Springton.
Ted married Ann (Annie) Brody and they raised four children; Pauline, Leonie, Robina and Dennis.
Ted entered the army in 1942 and was stationed at Katherine, Northern Territory.
Ted died in the Naracoorte Hospital on 3 August 2006. His funeral service was conducted at the Heritage Chapel in Naracoorte, South Australia, on 7 August 2006 and he was buried at the Naracoorte Lawn Cemetery.
