Son of Mrs Christina Pauline and the late Mr Andrew George WALLACE of 163 Glen Osmond Road, Frewville, SA. Educated at Yaninee, Eyre Peninsula he worked in the grocery trade in civilian life. He joined the AMF in December 1939 and was a clerk in the Medical Corps. AAMC Headquarters and the Medical Corps at Woodside and Cheltenham. At Woodside he was in charge of a ward. Transferring to Alice Springs he gained his second stripe and was later transferred to Mount Isa. He is very artistic and fond of tennis. He married Miss Jessie Gurr of Prospect.
