Son of Mr and Mrs W.L. Coe
Arthur was residing at 37 Dew Street Thebarton on enlistment. He was educated at Ethelton School and played Cricket and Tennis for Tailem Bend Club for two seasons. In civil life he worked at Tailem Bend and then transferred to Spencer Bros., Adelaide for 5 years. At the time of enlistment he was employed by Metters Ltd. as a blacksmith's assitant.
