His parents were John WATSON & Ann SHIRRAS who married in Aberdeen, Scotland on 27th October, 1853
He married Elizabeth Ann MUNDAY in 1884 in Victoria - after her death in 1890 he remarried on 31st December, 1895 in Bendigo to Hannah Elizabeth TUCK
