A Brief Story
Louis Cushion (Dad) married Beryl Hall (Mum) on 13th June 1942. After their marriage they moved to Yararoo Station. After he was discharged from the Army they lived at Yararoo until 1948 (where the 4 eldest children were born) - namely John, Joan, Robert (decd) and Tom. They were then allocated a soldier settlement block at Vivonne Bay, Kangaroo Island (where the 2 youngest were born at Kingscote Hospital) - namely Annette and Sharon. They Moved to their block in about 1951 and eventually sold in 1966/67 and moved to Adelaide where they stayed for the rest of their lives.
