Son of Leslie Robert and Ruth Marriane Best, of Norwood, South Australia.

LOVED SON OF MR. & MRS. L.R. BEST OF NORWOOD,S.A.

Mr and Mrs. L.R. Best, of Osmond terrace, Norwood, have been informed that their son, Cpl. G. R. Best, was killed in action at the landing on Balik Papan on July 1. He was born at  Loxton and enlisted in October 1940. His only brother is serving in Borneo.
