Son of Percy Duncan and Alice Emily Fergusson of Prosser Avenue, Norwood, SA.
Husband of Ronda Isabella FERGUSSON of 16 Formby Street, Hilton, SA.
Married and residing at 70 East Parade, Kensington when he enlisted at the age of 27, Neil was educated at Wellington Road Public School and followed all outdoor sports. In civilian life he belonged to a wool-buying agency, and at the time of enlistment in January 1941 he was acting as a wool buyer. He trained at Woodside and spent 6 months at Alice Springs. Left Melbourne in November 1941 for Malaysia and fought through this campaign. He was reported missing in Malaya and taken prisoner of war where he died from Malaria.
