Son of Rupert Lewis Griffiths, and Elsie Pearl Griffiths, of Thebarton, South Australia. Dip. Agr. (Roseworthy).
Roll of Honour Murray Bridge
Mr. and Mrs. R. L Griffiths, of Rose street, Thebarton have been informed that their younger son, Pte. A. R. Griffiths. 2/3rd Machine Gun Battalion, died of illness while a prisoner or war in Siam on May 24. 1945. Before enlisting Pte. Griffiths was a field officer of the State Department of Agriculture. His brother. Sgt. D. L. Griffiths, served for five years with the 2/27 th Battalion, AIF.
