Add my storyBiography contributed by Sharyn Roberts
Victor GARE was born in Goodwood, South Australia on 28 June 1902. He was the second of eleven children of Samuel and Edith GARE.
Victor Gare's daughter Dorothy was only 4 years old when her father enlisted and went away to war and so has few memories of him. Dorothy's husband Colin Schumacher has researched and written a short biography. In doing so he has honoured the memories his much loved wife has of her Father and he has provided a point of reference to the current and future generations of the famiy who will all have access to it as well.
