Leo Charles Pollitt was the second son and one of six children of Franklin John Charles Arthur Pollitt, and Helena Thompson. Helena was known in the family as Elaine.
Leo Charles Pollitt was known as Joe in the family and did not marry. Following the death of his mother and father he went to live with his brother William Flinders Pollitt (known as Bill) at Warradale, where he continued to live until his death.
Joe Pollitt's relationship to me is 1st. cousin 1x removed, his mother and my grandmother Ethel Thompson were sisters.
