Son of Frederick William Henry and Eva Margaret RADLEY, Mundalla, SA
HE DIED FOR KING AND COUNTRY AND FREEDOM FOR THOSE HE LOVED
The utmost sympathy will be extended to Mr and Mrs F.W.H. Radley, of Mundalla, who were informed on Thursday, July 3, that their youngest sond, Pte M.E. (Ted) Radley, of the 9th Division Cavalry, was killed in action on June 14th. Pte Radley was born at Pinaroo on April 27th, 1919. He came to Mundalla a little over three years ago, and enlisted in May, 1940. He was attached to a tank corps, and reached the high standard of mechanic driver before leaving Australia. Ted was well known in Mundalla, and had attained popularity with all classes. He was farewelled from that centre before his departure for service overseas.
