Biography
Lyle served in the 8th Division and was captured by the Japanese at the fall of Singapore. His brother Clyde also in Singapore attached to Rotal Navy was killed. A POW at Changi thereafter, Lyle survived and returned to South Australia to his wife Kathleen. They had three children, Trevor, Neil, Jennifer and many grandchildren.
