Family Service to the Defence Force

Lyle REYNOLDS was my grandfather and would now be over 100 years old if alive today. Besides his brother Clyde who was killed at the fall of Singapore his other brothers John and Noel also served. Remarkably their father John Bennett REYNOLDS also served in WW1 and WW2. His oldest son Trevor John REYNOLDS also completed National Service. Two of Lyle's great grandsons, Trevor's grandsons Daniel and Matthew have both served in Afghanistan campaigns also, spanning 5 generations of Service to the ADF.
