Mrs. L. A. Chellew, of Byrnes street, Brooklyn Park, has been notified that her husband, Pte. H. C. Chellew, AIF, was killed in action in New Guinea on December 24. Pte. Chellew was employed in the SAR before enlisting. He was the eldest son of Mrs. H. H. Martin, of Terowie.
