Private DALE joined the Army in 2007 and in the same year successfully completed his recruit and infantry basic training prior to being posted to the 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment.
Private DALE was deployed on Operation Slipper (Afghanistan) Dec 2009 – Aug 2010.
Private Dale was awarded:
- the Australian Active Service Medal with clasp: International Coalition Against Terrorism (ICAT),
- the Afghanistan Campaign Medal
- the Infantry Combat Badge.
